3D Printed CORAL MODEL

This coral model was created by The Hydrous from a set of photographs taken in Hawaii in 2014. Using a process called photogrammetry, the images were stitched together to create a digital model and then printed with a 3D printer. The color on this model is “real” based on the original photographs. It provides a hands-on experience of a reproduction of a real coral sample collected non-destructively.

Other Hydrous digital models are available for viewing, and are also free to download; you can create other physical coral models from these if you have access to a 3D printer.
